דני פנינגטון הוא אחת הדמויות הזכורות מסרט הלייב אקשן צבי הנינג'ה משנת 1990. בתחילת הסרט הוא נער מרדן שמסתבך עם שבט הרגל, אך בהמשך מגלה אומץ ומסייע לצבי הנינג'ה במאבקם נגד שרדר.
דמות זו מעולם לא זכתה לצעצוע רשמי בתקופת יציאת הסרט, ורק בשנת 2021 העניקה לה NECA את הכבוד הראוי במסגרת סדרת Loot Crate הבלעדית. האקשן פיגר שוחזר בקפידה על פי הופעתו בסרט, כולל אביזרים והבעות פנים נאמנות למקור.
